One of my best friends from high school had a baby this Valentine’s Day!
His name is Hassan Hipolito Gutierrez Everingham. “Hassan” is an Arabic name; meaning handsome, noble, and generous. “Hipolito” is the baby’s middle name, according to the Latin American tradition of using the father’s first name as the firstborn son’s second name. Just to throw a little curve ball at all his future teachers, the “H” is Hassan is pronounced strongly, while the “H” in Hipolito is silent!

Ohh, so cute! Congrats to the wonderful family. This ex-kindergarten teacher is already feeling for Hassan. There is a very good reason I named you a three letter word. You were ready to write on before everybody else in the room!
